DeltaHawk Takes Flight to the 50th Anniversary Celebration of AirVenture

DeltaHawk flew a Cirrus SR-20, powered by the new DHK 180-hp jet fuel engine, from Racine to Oshkosh. The plane and engine were displayed at the DeltaHawk booth throughout the 50th annual AirVenture event. Visitors saw the innovative engine design that provides improved efficiency, simpler inspection and maintenance, a lower parts count and a reduced engine weight, in comparison to current GA powerplants. FAA certification is anticipated on the DHK 180-hp engine by the end of the year.

The engine's unique design was reimagined by pilot engineers with features that include redundancies in the air, cooling and fuel systems, and does not rely on the aircrafts' electrical system for operation. DeltaHawk's engine offers the best power choice, including better durability, quality and reliability, combined with extraordinary performance, making general aviation safer and more affordable.
